Please consider SPONSORING MUFASA‘s training! No amount is too small
Meet Mufasa:: ~2 years old, 110 pounds, Neutered Male Mastiff.
Mufasa was found by the security staff at the Cincinnati Zoo after he was left tied to a fence outside in their parking lot by someone over night. The staff took him in and took care of him until Animal Control came to pick him up. Afterwards, he spent 3 long months in a kennel being treated for heartworms to save his life. Once his treatment was complete, Peppermint Pig Animal Rescue was called to rescue him.
Mufasa is an affectionate, loyal, and very sweet boy who does very well with other dogs, walks well on a leash (but is very strong), loves car rides, and crates well if needed. However, Mufasa is a bit rambunctious and stubborn and needs someone who will commit to his training needs. He is a great, and very loyal dog, who just had a bad start in life and needs a little extra commitment than others.
To help him gain the manners and obedience training he needs, we are providing Mufasa with a 2 week training camp at Cincinnati Dog Trainers- Off Leash K9 Training. He will stay with them for a 2 week training session and the trainers of Off Leash will be available to work with Mufasa at any time after adoption at no expense to the adopter. The lifetime training is included with the $2,000 training package we are providing for Mufasa. PLEASE CONSIDER MAKING A DONATION TO HELP SPONSOR MUFASA’S TRAINING— NO AMOUNT IS TOO SMALL!
Along with a thoroughly evaluated application to find the right home for him, a FENCED IN YARD IS REQUIRED to adopt Mufasa, no exceptions. His adopters should also have experience with this breed type, or similar, and we will be looking for a home for him without small children.
$200 Adoption Fee. Mufasa is neutered, current on vaccinations, has undergone heartworm treatment and is current on heartworm prevention, he is microchipped, and comes with a lifetime training guarantee through Cincinnati Dog Trainers- Off Leash K9 Training.
Due to Mufasa’s lifetime training guarantee, his adoption radius will be within one hour of Cincinnati so the trainers are able to travel to him if they are needed.
