From adopter, Katherine: “This is Tucker. Volunteers from the Peppermint Pig pulled him from a high kill-rate shelter on the very day he was to be euthanized. Thanks to them, this magnificent and exceptionally loving animal is now a part of my family. This is what the Peppermint Pig does…every single day. The closing of this rescue group will be a tremendous loss for the animal rescue community. But saving it will be a triumph over the hate, ugliness and irresponsibility we so often see in this world.
