AT PEPPERMINT PIG ANIMAL RESCUE, WE UPDATE ALL OF OUR PETS ON A REGULAR BASIS. IF YOU SEE ME HERE, I AM AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION. PLEASE READ MY BIO BELOW TO LEARN MORE ABOUT ME AND HOW TO APPLY TO ADOPT 🙂 Meet S'more:: 1 year old, 7.5 pounds, Neutered Male Chihuahua. Available for Adoption! Look at those adorable ears! S'more is a friendly and snuggly little guy who only takes a few minutes to warm up to new people. He is fairly outgoing for a Chihuahua, but has a little timidness/shyness here and there. He gets along great with other dogs and would do well in a home with older children, the little ones and loud noises make him a little nervous. S'more loves to wrap himself up in warm blankets, he appears to be housebroken in his foster home, is very comfortable in a crate and would love to have a warm lap to curl up in with fall just around the corner! $195 Adoption Fee. • English Bulldog
  • Spayed/Neutered
  • Housebroken
  • Up-to-date with routine shots

AT PEPPERMINT PIG ANIMAL RESCUE, WE UPDATE ALL OF OUR PETS ON A REGULAR BASIS. IF YOU SEE ME HERE, I AM AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION. PLEASE READ MY BIO BELOW TO LEARN MORE ABOUT ME AND HOW TO APPLY TO ADOPT 🙂 Meet Ryker:: 3 years old, 42 pounds, Neutered Male English Bulldog. Available for Adoption! Ryker is a sweet and spunky little guy who is always up for snuggle! He enjoys leash walks and lounging around the house with his foster's dogs. Ryker loves people, and does well with children, but he can get pretty excited when he's playing and doesn't pay attention to what he's doing, so he would do best if children in the home are older. He gets along great with other dogs and loves snuggling with them throughout the day. We rescued Ryker after his family tried to have him euthanized at the vet when they couldn't afford to repair his prolapsed rectum or skin issues. Ryker had been suffering from Sarcoptic Mange for quite some time before he went to the vet, along with many other discomforts and ailments that English Bulldogs tend to suffer from. Our vet was able to repair his rectum as well as trim his soft palette so he could breathe easier, and repaired his cherry eye. We have treated his mange and Ryker is growing a lot of his fur back in but still has a long way to go with it. He has also been treated for skin yeast and infection. Our vet believes that he will grow most of his fur back, but maybe not all of it. Ryker is a Lilac color, so he will likely have ongoing skin issues throughout his life. He will need an adopter who is prepared to take on the expenses this may incur, as well as the typical expenses and maintenance of an English Bulldog. This may include a special limited ingredient diet and continued medicated baths and skin treatments, among other things. Ryker is sure to make up for any medical expenses with his amazing and adorable personality. He is so deserving of a good life where he can be comfortable, happy AND healthy! Regardless of all he has been through, he remains a happy, loving-life kind of guy and he makes sure to show it every chance he gets! He is a little wiggle butt and such a sweet and affectionate boy, he is sure to keep his people smiling! $300 Adoption Fee. We will be looking for an adopter who has experience with English Bulldogs and/or similar breeds and are prepared to take on the added expense. A $10.00 non-refundable application fee is required to submit your adoption application and will be deducted from your adoption fee if you adopt. All Peppermint Pig Animal Rescue dogs are spayed/neutered, current on vaccinations, heartworm tested, current on heartworm and flea prevention, and microchipped. Basil is a fun and sweet little girl, she gets along with other dogs and would do best if other dogs in the home have similar energy and playfulness. Basil does great with her foster's child and would do well in a home with children who are experienced with dogs and able to manage her playful energy. Basil will do best with an active family who will take her on regular long walks, but she would make a great running/jogging/hiking partner too! Basil would love to have plenty of mentally stimulating activities, training and fun exercises to do! She is very treat/positive reinforcement motivated and may make a great agility dog too! $145 Adoption Fee. Along with other criteria evaluated in the adoption application, a Fenced Yard is required to adopt. AT PEPPERMINT PIG ANIMAL RESCUE, WE UPDATE ALL OF OUR PETS ON A REGULAR BASIS. IF YOU SEE ME HERE, I AM AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION. PLEASE READ MY BIO BELOW TO LEARN MORE ABOUT ME AND HOW TO APPLY TO ADOPT 🙂 Meet Rowan aka Earnest:: 4.5 years old, 60 pounds, Neutered male Pyrenees/Shepherd/Chow type/mix. Available for Adoption! Rowan, who we are now calling Earnest, has found himself homeless after his family raised him from a puppy and he was loving and loyal to them for over 4 years before they abandoned him over their own neglect to provide proper supervision in their invisible fenced yard and had a very minor incident with someone who came into the yard unannounced. Earnest loved his family so much and he has been depressed and sad ever since they left him, with only fleeting moments of playfulness here and there. Earnest takes some significant time to warm up to his new people, but he does love to be pet and loved once he knows you're his friend. Earnest would do best as an only dog in the home, in a one person household with no children. $145 Adoption Fee. Please consider sponsoring Earnest's adoption fee by going to the DONATE tab on our website, here: https://peppermintpiganimalrescue.org/donate/ A $10.00 non-refundable application fee is required to submit your adoption application and will be deducted from your adoption fee if you are selected to adopt. AT PEPPERMINT PIG ANIMAL RESCUE, WE UPDATE ALL OF OUR PETS ON A REGULAR BASIS. IF YOU SEE ME HERE, I AM AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION. PLEASE READ MY BIO BELOW TO LEARN MORE ABOUT ME AND HOW TO APPLY TO ADOPT 🙂 Meet ¡Queso! 48 pounds, 1 and a half years old, Neutered Male Labrador/Border Collie mix. Available for Adoption! This spunky and spirited little guy is searching for his forever home! ¡Queso! was adopted as a puppy and raised by his family who then abandoned him when he became an inconvenience after they had a baby! ¡Queso! is a little softy who warms up to you quickly to new people and gives lots of affection and kisses, he bonds deeply and quickly to his people. He has gained a lot of confidence in his foster home and he has done well with his foster's older children, we think ¡Queso! do best in a home without young children where they can focus on providing him him with plenty of exercise. ¡Queso! would make an excellent running partner or agility dog! ¡Queso! is super smart and would benefit from some basic obedience training. He will do great with an active family, and/or having another young/active/playful dog, who is not dominant, in the home to be his best friend. ¡Queso! absolutely LOVES running and playing in the yard with his foster's dogs, but every once in a while he misreads their social cues and will get into small, brief quarrels with them. He has never hurt anyone, and his foster's dogs are not interested in spats, so it's mostly just noise. He has to be redirected and then he will continue playing with them. ¡Queso! will need a little patience and guidance in the beginning to help him integrate since he can sometimes feel a little insecure with new dogs at first. He does best with submissive and/or neutral dogs who love to run/play with him. ¡Queso! is housebroken, has good in-home manners, and does well when crated. $145 Adoption Fee. A $10.00 non-refundable application fee is required to submit your adoption application and will be deducted from your adoption fee if you adopt.
